Music Page Update: Autumn Afternoon

I’ve uploaded a new song to the Music page called “Autumn Afternoon”. It’s a gentle, mellow guitar theme for Zero and Hanami’s relationship.

BHS Blogress Report: 2016, Week 31 [Overwatch Edition!]

Aside from working on my MIDI compositions (available for listening on the Music page and YouTube), most of my week was occupied with Blizzard’s new phenomenon, Overwatch… I discuss my experience in detail at the link below. This coming weekend, I’ll be attending International Sailor Moon Day, so expect coverage in next week’s Report!

Music Page Launch – Farewell to Harper Lee

Tasakeru.com’s Music page is now officially open, with my first finished piece: “Moonlight Lullaby – Veil of Tears”. I’ve been writing music for Tasakeru for quite a few years now, but it’s only recently that I acquired the tech to share it with people. Expect more in the future.

On a more depressing subject, I must pay my respects to Harper Lee, who died this morning at age 89. Of course, Ms. Lee was the author of To Kill a Mockingbird, one of the greatest novels ever written. To Kill a Mockingbird has been praised by so many people in so many different ways over the years that it’s nearly impossible for me to add anything… I can only say that reading it always takes me back to my childhood in North Carolina, to streets described so vividly that I’d swear I had once lived there, and people that seem like old friends. They say the highest compliment an author can receive is to hear a reader say that they can see your story happening in their mind. Maycomb, Georgia feels so real to me that I can not only see it, but hear, taste, touch and smell it. It feels like home.

Stand up. A legend is passing.
