***Everyone has no doubt heard about the March 11 Sendai earthquake and tsunami by now. The weight of this catastrophe is enormous, and the aftereffects will be felt for years to come. I ask all my readers to take part in donations to the Red Cross. If you cannot donate time or money, please consider a blood donation; not many people in Japan give blood due to cultural differences.
